My sympathies for your loss.
When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, we did not decline to retaliate because “we are better than they.”
The left made a sneak attack on the foundation of our Republic: the integrity of the vote.
The Chinese made a sneak attack on our people with covid-19. The left attacked our police and our cities, rendering one helpless to protect the other.
They have made a mockery of the law. And they’re just getting started.
This is all far worse than Pearl Harbor. So no, we’d better not be “better than they” if we want to survive.
We can respond in an appropriate way even though we are better than that.
Being better than that does not mean being suicidal. It has to do with motivation even when the actions can be misconstrued. Saying we’re better than that to avoid responding is a cop out.
That is totally strawman.
This is not an outer enemy attacking our military on our territory. And not retaliating months later at Midway.
This is an insurrection by communists for months on end ignored by all. THAT if anything should’ve been confronted. The enablers should’ve been arrested for flouting and defying federal laws and the safety and property of the local citizens. (Honestly the mayors calling “sanctuary” over the years should’ve been arrested.). Instead in response to an election with no obvious visual, this is Congress being assaulted by people.
No matter what you think of the election, etc, there was no call for this. It is not a good visual, and neither was the inaction against the America-hating scum conveniently cheered on and enabled for months.
