Catsup goes on the Hash Browns, but it ends up on the Eggs through osmosis.

I suppose that would indicate I’m a super curmudgeon, as I don’t believe it belongs on my fries either.
‘Merica.
Where else would a discussion re: the appropriateness of a particular condiment belongs atop a food item be a serious discussion. (And I say this last statement without sarc)

Ah! You’re Japanese! Mayonnaise on fries!

Actually, YES! You can keep the Tabasco and crap. Oh, and Hunt’s Ketchup is much better than Heinz.

I’ve eaten ketchup on my scrambled eggs perhaps twice in my life only because the taste or lack of taste in them required something to make the edible. I don’t think I had any Tabasco sauce available. I will venture that many guys began putting either ketchup or Tabasco sauce on the powdered eggs they got served when they were in the military.

Ketchup belongs on horseradish to make cocktail sauce. Beyond that it’s useless.

When I first went into the Army, we still got a 4-pack of cigarettes in our boxes of C-rations. Then they stopped that. Nice of them to think about us dying from cancer while storming enemy positions without body armor.
