You bring up an interesting point. Manchin is rare bird. He’s a somewhat conservative Democrat. In the old days those folks were called Blue Dog Democrats. There are only a few of them left.
Wouldn’t it be something if Manchin flipped parties? In some respects the fate of the Republic is in his hands.
It’s time for a pool on how long before Manchin “grows in office” and announces that he supports elimination of the filibuster.
