I believe they certainly will. As soon as Trump leaves office, charges will be filed, certainly in NY and possibly in DC and FL. His passport will likely be seized. He may not languish in a cell, but you can count on law fare being practiced against him and his family. Their hatred of him (and us) knows no bounds.

They might take another tack, they might come at him with a deal, no endless litigation if he goes away quietly and stays off social media and/or the tv and radio forever. He'll be allowed to right a book, one, and it will be roundly panned and better not have any real details or the whole deal with be off. IMHO
