CAVA, a restaurant chain based in the DC suburb of Rockville, Maryland, is so committed to “diversity” that they’ve openly boasted about their significant reduction of white employees from 2019.
“Your continued support has helped us make strides to better our organization and the communities we serve. In such a challenging year, we couldn’t have achieved any of it without you. We look forward to continuing this work and welcoming you to our table in 2021,” the chain tweeted along with four infographics detailing their efforts to feed the poor, open new locations, and spread the false gospel of “social justice.”
One of the infographics reads: “Diversity matters–in the workforce and beyond. We’ve made strides to make CAVA a diverse, inclusive workplace and remain committed to expanding the following…” The graph then shows that:
- 45 percent of all their team members in 2020 were Hispanic, no change from 2019;
- 14 percent were black, up from four percent in 2019;
- Eight percent Pacific Islander, up from two percent;
- Three percent Asian, up from one percent;
- 21 percent white, down from 37 percent;
That represents a 43 percent reduction in the number of white employees in just one calendar year. Meanwhile Asian team members tripled, black team members more than tripled, and Pacific Islander team members quadrupled.
Another graphic reads: “We stand for social justice and remain committed to action. There’s still much more to be done.” CAVA then states they donated $50,000 to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, another $50,000 to the Equal Justice Initiative, became a founding member for “The Initiative for Black & Blue Partnership,” and entered a recruiting partnership with Howard University, a historically black university founded in 1867.
Wikipedia describes CAVA as a “fast-casual” chain serving “customizable Mediterranean bowls, salads and pitas.” If you’re a white individual looking for employment, don’t try your luck with them. They’re not looking to hire people of your kind. In fact, they’re looking to get rid of more of them.
When you see the word “diversity,” know that it means “fewer white people.” It always does

That is the very basics of what racism is.
I’m nowhere near them but id I was I’d avoid them like the plague.
Those stats will be used in the lawsuits brought by any former employees. Dumb move.
You know what? White people deserve this. Look at all those BLM protests, white kids. White people have asked for this, and now they deserve to be unmercifully hammered.
That is how the world works.

Bet they didn’t break out stats on GM’s or corporate diversity. I’ll bet a higher percent of those front line workers are diverse
As is typical of Woke Co, the management team is majority white, in this case, almost 70%, and virtually unchanged from their 2019 reference year.
Typical of elites to virtue signal on the backs of the working class.
CAVA sounds curiously close to a disparaging term for black Africans often used by racists, particularly in South Africa:
"kaffir" (pronounced "KAF-fir")
Soooo, diversity becomes majority?
It will be interesting to track customer reviews.

It’s illegal by the 1963 civil rights act to hire/fire on the basis of race and they should be investigated immediately.
