Dems will misread this election year as a validation of left wing issues. I firmly believe that COVID did Trump in. Not that he mishandled it, but it led to economic collapse and to a prevalent mood of disgruntlement and pessimism. Trump was the scapegoat.

As they always do when giddy with power, Dems will overreach. In two years, they will be slapped back to reality as I’ve no doubt the GOP will regain the House.

You’re probably right about the China virus. Almost certainly right about it, and the GOP may well take the House in 2 years. I certainly hope that they do. But, I don’t think that really changes the underlying dynamics.

The Democrats control all of the pillars of society and have used them ruthlessly over the last 60 years to restock their ranks, both through sh*thole country immigration and media/education/culture brainwashing.

Now with early and mail in voting, it has become so easy for them to go out and get more votes. So easy. All of their voters are in super-concentrated areas, and now they have all of the time in the world to go out and collect their votes. They know exactly how many votes they need, and it’s simply a matter of going out and getting them.

I wish some of my fellow FReepers would take note of the fact that we’re fighting these battles on traditionally very red territory, and it’s not because we’ve gotten some crazy ideas and the Democrats have moderated. It’s the opposite. Fraud will only get them so far. These races should have been 15pt+ blowouts well outside the margin of fraud, but the Democrats long game with changing the electorate is finally reached full bloom. They are not able to bridge yawning point gaps with fraud. Even excellent pollster Trafalgar had the commies winning these two runoffs.

The only thing that we have keeping us in the game is the destructive nature of Democrat policies and their compulsion to overreach, as you stated. However, through media, culture and campus propagandization, they are usually able to sufficiently mask or deflect the blame for what they’ve done so that the overall trajectory of things keeps ratcheting leftward.

I don’t see a solution to this that doesn’t involve violent revolution or peaceful dissolution. For me, I’m just going to consume less news and spend my time doing other things, trying to control what I can control which means trying to cut off every dime that I spend on any left-aligned institution and not padding MSM bottom lines by clicking on their fake news sites.

I agree with you on COVID...

I do agree that Trump ended up becoming a scapegoat...

I think he did a fine job handling COVID problem...

I think there are many people who do not agree with me on that...Those people voted for Joe Biden.

Joe Biden had a lot of money to spend...He ran many TV ads...Those ads worked...

There is nothing wrong with discussing how to improve the way the votes are counted...
However, FR posters should recognize that many people were eager to vote against Trump...
