Rapture? You don't know how to spell. It's CAPTURE, as in a criminal leaving innocent animals behind to starve. I hope the authorities CAPTURE you to save the lives of innocent animals.

You have misinterpreted MHGinTN's statement. He/she is not abandoning them, but trying to assure the beloved pets' survival should the Rapture occur and MHGinTN simply be GONE. No one but The Father knows the time of the event, not even The Son.

You assume that EVERYONE is fully conversant with your religion. Why should they be? Could you explain to me every detail of Buddhism's tenets? Your religion is not my religion, and therefore I would have absolutely no reason to know "rapture" from a hole in the ground.

My bad. But if I read something similar by a practitioner of say, Buddhism and was unfamiliar with a term, I would be inclined to search the unfamiliar term to educate myself to the context.
