Republican leadership is contemplating taking the one hour we have to present our objections on each state and giving part of that time away to Republicans who don't support the objections.

The CONTROVERSY raised in an objection to electors, is not a partisan issue, nor is it a political issue... it is a LEGAL controversy... which they are required to judge in FAIRNESS while giving deference and respect to those presenting the arguments.
Beyond being abjectly stupid, and proving what total UNQUALIFIED morons they are... these un-serious HACKS are risking the nation’s survival and its future on stupid POLITICAL posturing and sycophancy.
Rule of law be damned. Freedom and Fairness be damned. Basic Integrity be damned. Truth be damned. American’s Rights be damned.
The attempt at shorting the advocates of one side in a controversy SUPPOSEDLY being DELIBERATED by LEGITIMATE PROCESS... makes a travesty of legitimacy.
By shorting one side in deliberation over a controversy, they have overtly pre-judged it and disqualified themselves as legitimate arbiters.
Heads on a Pike... too good for them.
There is no guessing that we have been sold out by the GOPe and Republican party as a whole.

And the reason this topic has so few replies ?? The brainwashing of people over generations being told there can only be two parties, noone can make a third party, and we have to vote Republican so the party can fix the mess it helped perpetuate in the last election or bill passing or pick an excuse.
There shall be a new party, like it or not, the Uniparty gravy train just hit the last station.

The day will come when McConnell needs a favor or two from one of these objectors and he’s not going to get it , if he goes thru with that idea. I just heard Bush plans to attend Biden Inauguration in an act of “Unity”. Last time he went to a DEM inauguration he got solidly booed. But what the heck.

This. Even without Dem fraud and without 20 million current illegals being converted to voters before 2022, splitting a party doesn’t work. How did TR and Taft do in 1912 against Wilson? Combined, they slaughtered him; split, he won and we got the Fed, the Income Tax and the 17th Amendment.
No, the other my way to maintain our liberties if Lence doesn’t grow a spine in the next 10 hours is to acknowledge reality and admit that we really are two nations that cannot reconcile our differences, and split up as peacefully as possible. If the other side doesn’t agree (and they won’t), the we do what we must for ourselves, our children and generations after them.
