BTW, when someone who is of the sort that is easily offended tells you you’ve offended them just smile warmly and say “You’re welcome!”
If they demand an explanation say that since they spend so much time being offended it must be part of their happiness, that they possibly just can’t be happy unless they imagine they’ve some cause to feel miserable about others ... so you were saying you’re welcome for helping them to be their distorted version of happy.
