A few years ago, my daughter brought me what I thought included mashed potatoes. It was mashed cauliflower and it was delicious.

You heard wrong, It tastes like cauliflower. Surprise!

There is nothing wrong with cauliflower if you want it as a vegetable or flavoring.

But if you like the taste of rice, you are better off getting a quality rice such as genmai (unpolished without the fiber removed).
