In Civil War One, brother lined up sights on brother. Whole states... changed sides. Virginia secceeded from the Union, then West Virginia secceeded from Virginia, back to the Union. Historians still debate which bands of militia were on which side... when... 155 years later.
This time, the geographical batyle lines are MUCH less well defined.
There will be indecision. There will be defections. There will be mistakes made, blue on blue, red on red, armed on defenseless, and collateral damage.
