We are losing the great musicians that we all grew up with. Almost all of the stuff written today is crap.

Yeah. I got Joni, Paul, Brian, Roy, Bob, Michelle and Pet...probably a little slow on the uptake wiht the rest.

I probably wouldn’t have gotten all of them based on photos, but we would all get them with the first few bars of a song!

He did the version of You’ll Never Walk Alone that Liverpool FC adopted as their theme song. One of the most things in all of sports is hearing the crowd at Anfield sing it before every match.
First off, harlie is Charley. Another one we lost is sweet Misty Morgan.
I was just thinking, I could have posted something like that, but you wouldn’t have recognized any of them. But then we got to the bottom - your bottom was my top.

And another one from my younger “daze” has left us. I remember playing their 45’s ‘Ferry Cross The Mersey’, and ‘Don’t Let The Sun Catch You Crying’, when my brother bought back then. Hauntingly beautiful songs. The sound of the Mersey beat. Where did all the years go? We were all so young then, and thought we’d live forever. RIP Gerry.
We also lost Vera Lynn, who passed away in June, 2020 at 103.
