That verse starts out “Slow motion riders fly the colors of the day.” I take that to mean kites

“A bronze man, still can tell stories his own way” is trying to interpret the meaning behind a statue.

Perfect example, in Boston this week they removed a statue of a slave that they said was kneeling before Abe Lincoln.

Anyone but a leftist racist could see that Lincoln was lifting the slave from the oppression that kept him on his knees. But liberals are stupid and unable to see things outside of their twisted worldview

Your explanation made sense...all these years, it vaguely bothered me I didn't know that lyric, and then I kind of forgot.

As for the statue and the Leftists...I know. It is simply absurd. And dangerous. Of course, there are statues, like this ill conceived one that should be taken down...(and I think it was)
