Pelosi re-elected as Spkr. Secured 216 votes. McCarthy had 209. A total of 5 Dem defections. 3 Dems voted present. 2 Dems, Lamb & Golden, voted for others. Pelosi needed 215

Her base are not happy. They want UBI and Medicare and Pelosi will not give them a vote on it
If we lose the senate, Medicare 4 all will pass
Many in the gop will be happy no matter which way they lie or vote
