I'm trying to wait for the dust to settle a bit, but I cannot help but contemplate what to do personally from here on out. Living in Maryland, my national vote doesn't count at all, and I have no national representation, both my senators and congress-comrade being dems. I have faithfully voted in every election, and except for once for a libertarian, always republican.

Republican party is finished in my book. How many times have we held our noses and voted for the lesser of two evils? How many times have we been told “if we just have the House ... Senate ... Presidency?” I think I may confine myself to the very local elections. And perhaps particularly good individuals in other states. Nationally, nobody cares about me or what I think.

I'd have more power if I were not a US citizen.

The GOP is dead to me.

If anyone asks I’ll say I am a conservative Trumpian

How many times have we been told “if we just have the House ... Senate ... Presidency?”

For two years, Republicans had all three and most of them spent those years working against everything that President Trump wanted to do.

The Republican Party is mostly just elite swamp creatures who want their gravy train to continue. I live in Maryland also and will change to Independent tomorrow.
