I agree. In fact I’ve been wondering about him lately (although I didn’t know he was missing). He had to be looked at as a HUGE THREAT to the Communists in China, as they moved more and more into, well, Communism, because that’s what Communists do (as we’ll soon learn here).
I suspect they simply stuck to their plan, which was to let him do as he wished, but the moment he made anything perceived as a move towards political power, which, in Communist countries, means criticizing the government (as we’ll soon learn here), they decided to cut him off at the pass, before he could become a serious threat to them. So he’s out of business now...
