p.s. My daughter made me watch tons of anime stuff with her. Some of it is pretty entertaining.
I was partial to Inuyasha.
Personal history sidenote:
Foldie could be right about the dangers of anime, though. I still had my temporary license when our coach took us for pizza. I just had to drive the p and m's country squire station wagon (cool, right?).
After the pie party, I was racing my friend's toyota and kicking its ass, singing the theme song to Speed Racer.
Lo and behold, there was a car up ahead stopped at a stop sign.
BLAMO, KABLAM!!!
Bad, right? Woulda been worse if the car hadn't been there. Across the street from the stop sign and directly in my path was the house of the girl I had a major crush on, Deanna Pampena (deceased. RIP, my sweet angel).
That woulda' been awkward.
*we now return control of your internet to you*
We used to live for Speed Racer after school!
I guess Initial D was after your time bags?
And yeah, Speed Racer was one of the original anime, fold. There is certainly some dark stuff out there, and some stuff that is sad to the point it’ll make you cry, and some stuff that will make you cry laughing.
It’s more entertaining than today’s entertainment. There’s little to none of it that is politically correct, so it has that going for it as well.
