I'm just curious ...
Do we want the President to "Cross the Rubicon?"
Because when Julius Caesar did that, it was the end of the Roman Republic.
What if it’s the end of the Republic either way???

Anything is better than a CCP conquest turning us into Venezuela.
But what we want is for Trump to imitate Pinochet and relinquish power after draining the swamp.
We also don’t don’t know if Julius Caesar was going to restore the Roman Republic afterwards because he was assassinated, it was those who came after him who ended the Republic and established the Empire.

It’s beginning to look like it will be the end of our Constitutional Republic if he does NOT cross the Rubicon.
We cannot let the steal happen. If that means a call to arms, then so be it.
I think the difference here is that Rome didn’t have a means of putting that toothpaste back in the tube, and we, according to all indications, do.
The Roman Republic, by the time of Caesar was a republic in name only. It had already become fractioned and corrupt through a process of Civil wars and domestic unrest that had been going on for about the last 100 years. Caesar did mark the end of the republic, but he also brought a greater degree of fairness and prosperity to the people through his governance.
