We moved there in 1980.
I’m sure it was cool in the 50s and 60s.
It was a mess in the 80s and never stopped.
I have not been there in a long, long time.
Thanks, nice conversation. Yes, when Arlington was 50k instead of 400k it was a great town. And you had Ft. Worth and Dallas at your fingertips.
And the fishing was good and uncrowded in Fisherman’s Paradise, the inlet to Lake Arlington. And if you snuck past Reddy Kilowatt into the inlet at the Electric Plant, the fishing was really good!
