I used to show this in my humanities classes around 1999. The only prediction that didn’t come true, IIRC, was the proliferation of personal jet planes. In all the other predictions, how the technology worked was a bit off, but what the technology was supposed to do was things (online billing, home education, etc) that were happening in 1999.

I was only 6 years old when this video came out. It was a time of dreams, the “space race”, and full-throttle towards what the “future” held in store. Amazing times to have lived through!

You’re right... Nailed what computers would do - but not how small or efficient they would become... the whole flashing lights thing was funny...
