This is ridiculous. None of this will amount to a hill of beans. Trump has NO cards to play. The dealer and entire casino has banned him from the game. It was all rigged from the moment he got the nomination in 2016.

Wouldn’t play for me. Can you give us a brief synopsis?

I love and adore Candace...

...but wow.

I’m not sure she wrote this. There’s a lot of tin foil hattery in the article.

As in martial law

I have no doubt that this, or any other possible, Supreme Court would uphold Ex parte Milligan 9-0 in less than ten minutes.

If you need to look up ex parte Milligan, then you should not be posting about "martial law".

Evil but smart is right.

This is a terrific essay that I recommend.

THE NEXT QUESTION

BY PUBLIUS VALERIUS | Dec 30, 2020 [Excerpt below.]

The next and most essential question we each must now ask ourselves is:

Are we better off fighting to defend the properly elected President of the United States of America, to defeat this ongoing coup against the Constitution and the domestic enemies who aided and abetted it, or are we better off staying home, burying our guns, letting the Left complete their theft, and fighting the Federal power in the hands of the Left, as persecuted outsiders?

How each of you reading this decide to answer this question will determine the course of history. Will the domestic enemies of the US Constitution complete the destruction of the Document and the subversion of the American Republic, or will 70 million Americans fight so that those on the Left are defeated and held accountable? Make no mistake, there are no good choices. We are well past the point of having good options.

If we choose, as liberty loving people, to resist this communist coup, there will be blood. The Left has promised, and proven, violence if their coup is resisted. Many may die, patriots, tyrants, and innocents caught in the middle in the next few months. Some of us reading this may die. Some of our wives and children may die. The Union may fracture, perhaps irrevocably. The fabric of America will be irrevocably changed, and not for the better. This will start a civil war, and nobody truly wins in such a conflict. Isn’t the alternative better? If we just give in, won’t the Left leave us alone? What does history tell us?

If we surrender without fighting, as the Left is desperately urging us to do, then history tells us what happens next. Just as in Russia after the Revolution, or Germany when the National Socialists took power, or Venezuela, or in every other country where the Left has stolen the power of government, without exception, Liberty loving folks will be progressively and relentlessly hounded. Using the full force of the Federal government, initially in the ‘blue’ states, but increasingly everywhere, the Left will attack anyone they view as their enemy. Trump voters will be targeted, small businesses will be obliterated, the middle class will be but a memory, and any attempt at resistance will be crushed by the Left using the mechanisms of the Federal government. If you thought that the FBI, the IRS and the EPA under Barry Soetero were bad, then just wait and do nothing, and see what happens next.

“Trump has NO cards to play.”

Oh yes he does. The constitution gives him the right to declare martial law. To invoke the insurrection act. Whether or not you believe he should do that, or if even if he did so it would make any difference, he has options.

IMO, The Steal is a greater national crisis, a bigger catastrophe, than Covid. Now is the time to fight.

The Supreme Court has already folded. President Trump either takes this fight to the bitter end or he quits.

If martial law is not enacted and Joe Biden is inaugurated on January 20, then we will know that Trump is a quitter.

The selection of the President and Vice President is not a Federal election under Article I §4, and it is also not an exercise in self-government (except perhaps in an indirect way).

The selection is a function of State Legislatures, and, like it or not, the State Legislatures of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona have either appointed or consented through inaction to the appointment of, 73 Electors who intended to vote for Biden and Harris.

These are legally appointed, the only entity with a right to object are those Legislatures, which they show ABSOLUTELY NO sign of doing.

IF (for example) the Pennsylvania Legislature voted by majorities in both Houses to sue the Secretary of State and the Governor, they could possibly have a Federal case that those officials have breached the Article II electors clause.

But no one else has that right. There are no "Presidential elections" in the Constitution, there is no right to "vote for President" (unless you are one of the 538 Electors), and any arguments about Pence or the military must account for WHY the Legislatures, whose right the appointment of Electors is in the first place, are not objecting.

No one just waltzes in and robs scores of millions of their right to self-goverment.

They do when half of the people don’t see it as such, and when most legislators, courts, and various “officials” are perfectly fine with it.

"The Constitution gives him the right to declare martial law"

Not unless ex parte Milligan is overruled, it doesn't. If you wish for Trump to be killed, having him attempt to declare martial law and then to resist the inevitable arrest by the military would be the fastest way for it to happen.

These electors are fruit of the poisonous tree, the proverbial “bad apples”.

So what?

The responsible parties seem quite content with the outcome.

This is like you going to the DA asking your ex-girlfriend's new BF to be tried for rape.

When he asks your ex-GF (the GOP) if she was raped ("no, we're totally in love"), you are not going to get an arrest warrant, whatever your opinion is about their relationship.

This outcome is the doing of five or six GOP Legislatures. THEY could something about it.

The fact that they don't should tell you everything you need to know.

Look on the bright side. Kamala Harris will be the weakest President in the history of the country. The chances that she will do something that will finally give rise to an actual strong, far right-wing party (which is what we need) are very good.

The fact that your ex-girlfriend (the GOP) is screwing another guy leaves you with no good options regarding her. You're not getting her back. It's time to move on.

I think this is a crock. Oh yes, somebody may have said it, but I don’t believe Ms. Owens is the one who said it.

Not to mention the casino is crooked. They’re hammering it home that the only way to beat the house is for them to let you win.
