What, or who, is in Turtle's wallet?

I don't know if it's true or not, but it's widespread:

McConnell was in the military in the late 60s or early 70s. He was discharged due to, um...indecent behavior.

At 2 years of age McConnell contracted Polio, he survived but has always had difficulty walking. WAS NOT IN Vietnam as far as I can find.
