Interesting to me that none of the reviews I’ve seen have mentioned that people with obvious Negro heritage have been cast in the roles of English people.

Do they at least explain why all of these characters are Black?

Any explanation - no matter how half-baked - would be preferable to none whatsoever.

I think it was something about “showing how wonderful we are,” but I don’t quite remember.
