Doctors are not prevented from prescribing Hydroxycloroquine. However, the research has not proven its effectiveness. And ppeople’s faith in it does not increase by the fact that it was promoted by a graduate of a foreign med school who believes in evil spirits taking human form to capture sperm.
And ... the number of recovered patients is about as newsworthy as the number of ships that did not sink.
Also, when the occasional ship does sink, they don't prevent ships from getting in the water for months and years on end. And why is that? Because as you so wisely point out 99.9999999% of ships don't sink.
In other words, you're making my argument for me but, again, like my last boss, the chihuahua, your (and her) insatiable need to be a contrarian prevents you from acknowledging that.
