About an hour after President Trump sent out his “Will be Wild” tweet, I tried to book two nights at Trump International Hotel (Washington, D.C.) only to find the least expensive rooms were long gone.
There were some available at $1440/night - too rich for my blood.
I secured two nights at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill (fittingly, on New Jersey Avenue).
The National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, VA and the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA are on the return agenda.
I sincerely hope it WILL BE WILD.
Marine Corps museum is awesome. Been several times. It kicks the Smithsonian American history museums butt which used to be phenomenal but has been reimagined by liberals and is a mish mash of random stuff in no chronological order .
Also staying at the Hyatt Regency with an old college friend. Tried to send a private message, but says IâÂÂm too new to use that feature. Actually IâÂÂve been on FR since before GW Bush and went to the FReeper Ball - was it count the silverware ball ? Anyway, I just never post and dropped out totally during the Obama years.
Hilton capital center , there 2 days, this motel is the one on the news from the last March, across from fireworks restaurant pj Clark’s? This motel is in blm plaza..yea baby, !!!!
I would most earnestly suggest visiting The World War Two Memorial while in DC. It’s beautiful.
