Consider the source -- one not even yet congressperson, thought be some not to be 100% there, saying "word on the hill is" -- at least double hearsay. Plus, as several others have said already, law is pretty clear.
I would call clickbait, and ask the worried ones above to check back on Jan 6. If one Sen and one Rep object, there WILL be votes in each house, just as happened in 2004.

Why did Hawley state this publicly anyway??? Courage is contagious. Well, in most places it is. Dunno about the hallowed halls of Congress; we shall see.
