History had that excellent series Food That Built America. Sanders, Kroc, Birdseye, Heinz, the Kellogg’s, Hershey, etc were great men, whose accomplishments in the vital food industry were analogous to the accomplishments of Edison in communications, or Ford, Rockefeller, Carnegie etc in heavy industry. That KFC mocks their founder like they do makes my skin crawl. You don’t see any other company founded by these titans doing that

Ford and Rockefeller don’t want too many eyes on the lives and beliefs of their founders. They established “charitable foundations” to stockpile their wealth and as a PR move.
