I’ve had chicken breast that I bought that was unbelievably tough and wondered what was wrong with it. This explains it.

Seems like every time we purchase a ready-to-go chicken kabob, we find woody breast.
We found the giant breasts on sale are generally tough. So we have found enough sources for 3-4 lb birds.
