I use cheddar
My FAV Boar’s Head cheeses are White Cheddar Horseradish, and the 3 Pepper Hot Cheese. YUM YUM YUM! Then again, other than some of the strange stuff they do, like head cheese and some insane pineapple turkey (ugh) I’ve not tasted anything by them I did not like.
LOL. Thx for the laugh ;>)
Anytime. ;)
White Cheddar Horseradish sounds delish.
Sort of like the "honey sauce" served at KFC that is mostly high-fructose corn syrup.
It sure is. And for those of us who love horseradish, it’s the bomb. Makes the nose feel like it does when you eat it as a dip on a good steak, you know? :)
“Sort of like the “honey sauce” served at KFC that is mostly high-fructose corn syrup.”
Interesting you mention that. I’m a beekeeper and there is no possibility I’d ever eat store bought honey. If you have Netflix watch the premier episode of the Rotten series about the honey industry. If you aren’t afraid of what you buy off the shelf now, you will be. So much honey is from China where there are (shocking) ZERO laws on what can be in the honey sold. Like chemicals, pesticides, and as you say...corn syrup. So they well to other countries and it’s bottled over there and sold here instead. Scary sheeeet man!
You know, Murray’s Cheese is even better than Boar’s Head, and pricier too, but so worth it.
oh...and I will try Cabot’s sometime...
Cabot makes good cheese.
Yup, love Cabot Seriously Sharp!
Went out to the Tillamook ‘factory’ when I lived in WA. It’s a real cheese and ice cream factory on a farm! Took the tour, had ice cream, and purchased 10 large blocks of cheese for Christmas presents. It was awesome!
Get some Velveta if you want “melty stuff”.
Hell yeah!!
I’m seriously thinking of making velveeta, rotel and italian sausage queso for New Years eve LOL
Tillamook makes good cheese.
Oh my goodness, is that a headline that needs exact hyphen-placement...
“Boar’s-Head Cheese”
vs.
“Boar’s Head-Cheese”
The second one is one of those foods that instantly makes me feel a little queasy to think about, like chitlins, or haggis. Bleah!
