“””The man who died submitted a “ready-to-fly” checklist that said he had not been diagnosed with covid-19 and did not have symptoms. But the family later confirmed he had been feeling sick as they prepared to travel; his wife told medical workers on board that he had lost his sense of taste and smell.”””

For those who read further they would have come across this tidbit.

How braindead are some people? It has been common knowledge for months that covid causes a loss of taste and smell.

That’s the problem, people start feeling off, but don’t think it could be covid and go about their normal business rather than taking precautions not to be around other people...I know people who started to not feel well, but did not initially think they had coronavirus...3 or 4 people I know of got it from people who went to work even though they were not feeling well...Certainly, if people are not feeling well, or even start with a sore throat, they should hold off on travelling...I really do wonder if people can spread the virus before they start feeling sick.
