Georgia Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue put out a joint statement praising President Donald Trump for signing the coronavirus relief bill, the New York Post reported on Monday.
Trump signed the bill, even though the demands he made when the legislation was presented to him were not met.

My understanding is the Impoundment Act allows the president to request that congress cut spending from a bill.
But Congress is free to reject the presidents request
If that’s so, what happened here is that Trump caved and he’s invoking the impoundment act to save face and camouflage the fact that he caved.
Voting for Republicans is like being promised Karen Gillan and getting Helen Thomas.
No one cares what those two pieces of schiff say. Even if they get elected they are no different than every other RINO and Democrat in the uniparty. They didn’t do jack schiff for Trump and people remember that. They are going to lose massively. It will not even be close. Hopefully that will be a warning to every other Republican pussy in the country.
Every poster here - up to #23 replies now - is long on complaints about Perdue and Loeffler and short on specifics. There isn’t one solitary issue that anyone has stated that warrants such complaining. Loeffler has been in the US Senate short of a year at this point, hardly long enough to earn such name calling. Why would people even consider coming to FR when it’s just a bunch of grumbling about everything under the sun??
