Thanks, I’m just curious about say buying groceries, then letting them sit under a light for a minute or so to kill any surface virus like on boxes, tomatoes, cantaloupe, cucumbers or whatever- instead of washing them all individually, making boxes soggy, some packages are semi permeable, so the contents woudl get soggy- but a light would prevent all that
I spray all my store items and delivered boxes with alcohol (denatured alcohol in 1 gal. can from hardware store, put in an industrial spray bottle). And the fruits and veggies sit under a UV under-counter light for 15 minutes each side.
I spray the touched car surfaces, keys, floor matt and my shoe bottoms, too. A gallon of denatured alcohol went from $8/gallon in March to $15/gallon in December.
I fear contact more than air transmission. Watched a Karen at the grocery store today grabbing, then putting back, countless items. Seems has to hold and look at everything she’s considering.
Imagine if she has it; how many others took home the items she had touched...
