I was trying to find out about "The Three-Body Problem" story. Every link only led me to a description of this as a property that was being bought and sold.

I had to go to Wikipedia, and with Wikipedia they tell you the entire plot. There is no quick synopsis.

So no one cares about this work as a story. All they care about is whether it can make money for some people.
