Numbers matter. US Army has 480,000 active troops. Texas has 700,000 hunters. In Afghanistan the US Army had a ten to one kill ratio. Using that number the Texas hunters would effectively attrite the US Army troops stationed in America into a non-effective fighting force. What about the other 49 states?
The fighting would be different, but the civilians would still win, probably with a more favorable kill ratio.
