The “Justice” Department and the FBI have done nothing about the 2020 Presidential Election Voter Fraud, the biggest SCAM in our nation’s history, despite overwhelming evidence. They should be ashamed. History will remember. Never give up. See everyone in D.C. on January 6th.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 26, 2020

Having considered carefully the good contributions on this thread, I offer my own thinking:

1. Trump is not a child of the Republican Party, he is the very definition of an outsider therefore he is owed no loyalty by the party establishment because he did not advance by giving loyalty.

2. Trump has antagonized those who provide the very mother's milk of politics, money especially money from Wall Street, and so he lost support when those in power who subsist on money were forced to choose.

3. The role of money in politics has dramatically changed from the old grease and smear that lubricated the gears to a whole new level illustrated by the career path of Joe Biden but prevalent in both parties and illustrated by leaders such as the Clintons, the McConnells, the Pelosis and the Feinsteins.

4. The cost of electioneering has risen geometrically and requires huge resources to win at the ballot box with very few exceptions, such as Donald Trump, forcing an aspiring or even an ensconced politician to adhere to the huge sources of political donations even at the cost of potentially alienating the party base. Hence the alignment of the Democrat party away from its blue collar base in favor of Wall Street. On the Republican side, the establishment chooses to remain with Wall Street while the Trump base forces the establishment to choose between its own economic and electoral interest.

5. If politics is downstream from culture, culture is downstream from academia. Our academies have been thoroughly infiltrated by China and co-opted by Chinese money. More, our economic institutions have been equally infiltrated and influenced witness the craven submission by Hollywood to censorship by China, the kowtowing by the NBA to China, the collaboration by Silicon Valley in the implementation of the murderous Chinese police state and the abject sellout to China by our news media. An examination of the whole spectrum of our economy, our politics, and our culture forces the inescapable conclusion that China dominates all players apart from the Trump movement.

6. China is the greatest single source of money, including money filtered through Wall Street, Hollywood, Silicon Valley and universities into American politics. Our industrial sector remains dependent on Chinese production, Wall Street remains dependent on selling our infrastructure out to China and taking the vigorish, our politicians are increasingly reliant on concealed campaign contributions from China. The list is very long.

7. The man who threatens to topple this new corrupt but lucrative structure, Donald Trump, is owed no intrinsic loyalty, is personally offensive to a huge portion of the American public and an overwhelming portion of the political class and he is personally distasteful as well as financially threatening to many. It becomes oh so easy to rationalize corrupt attacks against Donald Trump as the necessary means to a moral end.

8. The combined force of all these factors reverberates and reinforces these interests to combine against Donald Trump. There is no personal reward, rather grave personal risk to reputation, pocketbook and even personal liberty (witness General Flynn, Stone, etc.) for any politician and, (God help us) any jurist who opposes these interests on behalf of Donald Trump because the power of these forces, obvious in the media and now increasingly obvious in the deep state and in our whole judicial system, intimidates would be allies of Donald Trump. There is no upside to waging a quixotic battle on behalf of electoral integrity in the person of Donald Trump and there is mortal political and personal risk in daring to do so. Hence, we see the support for Donald Trump in the election theft limited to those with very little to lose personally or to those rare few like Sidney Powell with rock-solid personal integrity.

Nine. The history of the last four years of the Trump administration demonstrates unequivocally that corruption succeeds and will continue to succeed without any real risk.
