The Transition Integrity Project (TIP) was a series of June 2020 political scenario exercises in the United States, involving over 100 current and former senior government and campaign leaders, academics, journalists, polling experts and former federal and state government officials. The exercises examined potential disruptions to the 2020 presidential election and transition. TIP is not an organization, but rather a short-term project run under the auspices of the organization Protect Democracy.

The Transition Integrity Project was initially organized in late 2019 by Rosa Brooks, a law professor at Georgetown and former Pentagon senior official, and Nils Gilman, a former vice chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley and historian at the Berggruen Institute. The former Democratic presidential nominee predicted Republicans could try to “mess up absentee balloting” for a narrow advantage in the Electoral College.

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances, because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is,” Clinton said in an interview with her former communications director Jennifer Palmieri for Showtime’s “The Circus,” (Showtime owned by ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks) which released a clip Tuesday.

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee predicted that among several scenarios, Republicans are going to try to “mess up absentee balloting” so that they could get a potentially narrow advantage in the Electoral College.
“We’ve got to have a massive legal operation, I know the Biden campaign is working on that,” she said. “We have to have poll workers, and I urge people, who are able, to be a poll worker. We have to have our own teams of people to counter the force of intimidation that the Republicans and Trump are going to put outside polling places. This is a big organizational challenge, but at least we know more about what they’re going to do.”

Clinton said she thinks that the only way Trump could win re-election is “by either suppressing or stopping voting, or outright intimidating people into feeling that they have to go with the strong guy to stand up against all these threats that Trump is going to gin up to scare people.”...

That's a nice presentation. I've brought up the Transition Integrity Project here a number of times, but not as well as you did.

Don't leave out the synchronized release of "news" stories about the Red Mirage that appeared in late October in NYT, WAPO, ABCCBSNBCNPR, and the overseas media. The Guardian article (linked) is still tagged in Google, the US media stories, which appeared to be from a single source, are no longer tagged on Google and I dont have the time or patience to run each one down.

They were published to give top cover to the "Joe don't concede" story, and some of them had quite a bit of detail abut what "could" happen, which, as it turned out was EXACTLY what DID happen. These stories even gave a timeline for Biden to claim victory, which turned out to be accurate almost to the hour.

I'm sure the TIP people realized that their plan would lead to static on Wednesday and Thursday of Election Week, which is why the came up with the "Red Mirage" propaganda for the week before election day.

Anyway, you can't say we were not told EXACTLY what was going to happen, when it was going to happen, and how it was going to happen.

It's important to recognize that this affair required at least the passive participation of the majority of GOP elected officials, who have obviously given it willingly, perhaps in exchange for no cheating in contested House races and 1/2 Georgia Senate seats.

ALL of them - GOP and Dems alike - are delighted to see Trump go, which is why there are no open pathways forward.
