Don’t believe it. I’m supposed to believe “they” told us to stay in for months but then say staying in for ONE DAY on Thanksgiving with 4 others causes a surge?

Now I’m supposed to believe that for the last 8 months hospitals were practically empty because of Covid fears and docs worried people weren’t getting other screenings and treatments but NOW they are full?

They’re full of COVID patients for 3 reasons: the Thanksgiving surge, lower ability to gather outdoors because of winter, and people getting tired of restrictions and letting their guards down. The Christmas/New Year’s surge may be what puts some hospitals over the edge.
It’s a respiratory virus. If you’re not near someone else’s breath you can’t catch it.
