The problem with some PCR tests is actually false negatives, not false positives. Some info on that here:

We’ve seen some flu patients but it’s a much lower number than a regular flu season. I don’t have exact numbers but I would guess probably 80% less than normal.

I’ve been hearing PSAs for “the flu shot”. They say something like “with the COVID-19 pandemic raging, YOUR best chance to avoid getting sick is to get the “flu shot”. It really makes no sense but that’s what they’re saying.
