The Ballad of Eric Swalwell
(to the tune of Bang, Bang, he shot me down)

I was old and she was young
She told me I was well hung
She had money where did it come
I don’t know where it came from

Fang Fang, she shot me down
Fang Fang, I hit the ground
Fang Fang, that awful sound
Fang Fang, my baby shot me down.

Suspicion rose and she changed her name
It didn’t matter it was just the same
She would always laugh and say
“Remember when we used to play?”

Fang Fang, she shot me down
Fang Fang, I hit the ground
Fang Fang, that awful sound
Fang Fang, my baby shot me down.

Politics, money, sex and drugs,
All’s good ‘cause we elected Plugs
Now she’s gone, I don’t know why
Until this day, sometimes I cry
All she said was “Eric Swalwell,
All’s well that ends well.”

Fang Fang, she shot me down
Fang Fang, I hit the ground
Fang Fang, that awful sound
Fang Fang, my baby shot me down.
