Mass casualties highly probable if the bomb had detonated earlier (6-12 hours back in time)

TNT based bomb... more likely domestic actor.
Plastic explosives or two-part liquid bomb design... leaning towars international terrorist or ROP actor, but not ruling out the use of TNT by same.
Bomb energy / violence / damage- portends two-part liquid design, which points to an international terrorist or embedded sleeper actor- ROP.
RV is an open space / “soft” container that would absorb some of the bomb’s energy vs a more compact container like a cement truck or other piece of heavy equipment where the bomb might be hidden deep within the frame / engine compartment, increasing the bomb’s power. Greater masses of shrapnel ejected from heavy vehicle / confined steel compartments.
Also, the use of a dust initiator like 100 lb bags of cement or flour surrounding the bomb can amplify the bomb’s force.
Wrapping the bomb with gas bottles like oxygen, acetylene, propane, etc. can amplify the bomb’s power.
Mentioning these options because they would be available on the local market. International terrorists AND local yokels alike could use these tools.
Good job to local police for alerting on the RV and then evacuating as many local residents as time allowed.
Busy area, but not at 6:30am. Odd that it blew 30 minutes after it was identified, almost as if it was remote and they wanted it to at least blow and not be found intact. On a nice day the block with the wild horse saloon, one block away has hundreds of pedestrians. Other clue, Christmas Day, a religious Holiday.
