He's completely wrong about the trade policy empowering China (it did). Trade policy does have something to do with it, however, in that President Trump's modification of our trade policy with China was PART of the reason China attacked us.

We have been at war with China (and the derp state) since Trump was elected.

The rona was a salvo in that war.
