The codes and decodes, parsing of cryptic tweets, and deciphering of photos has been a nice distraction for the past 4 years. It has provided hope for some of us who have watched the quality of life for us and those of our loved ones consistently decline.
But, at some point, play time has got to end. Hope has its limits. It does not allow grandparents to hug their grandchildren. It does not feed you when you have been forbidden to work for months. It sometimes seems that the infatuation with spy-craft has distracted those in charge from actual results. I understand sacrifices are necessary, but they cannot continue to be one-sided.
Many are either losing hope or reaching a level of outright anarchy. I simply believe we are past the point of pictures of birds and obscure video clips. Here’s to some tangible results in the near future.
