Pence seemed furious in the days following, and I do think he’s an angry person, but it seemed like his response would have been different had it been a direct threat (re: his own crimes).
So just guessing here, and adding to my guesses Q’s advice to “watch the wives.” IF Pence’s envelope exposed his wife’s actions, it might explain Pence’s demeanor after the funeral (he seemed to want to fight).
