My youngest son was diagnosed with cancerous polyps in early 2019. They operated in April, and he went through 6 months of chemo treatments. So far, so good. He was 49 when he was diagnosed. The gastroenterologist told him he wished he had come to see him ten years earlier, but then he also said, my son would have only been 39 at the time, and they don’t screen people for colon cancer that young unless there is a history of it in the family. My Dad had polyps. They were removed twice, but none were cancerous. Of course he died years later of lung cancer.
Many are dying of something not even discovered yet and won’t be for hundreds of years.
