I agree. He sounded profoundly sad. He kept thanking his audience with a look back at his career.
He said the reason he loves Mannheim Steamroller is memories of his dad. Said he was on a flight to his next speaking engagement. The moon was very bright & in the clear night sky. It was near Christmas time when his dad died & the memories flooded back on the flight. Played MS on headphones.
Teared me up.
He also said at the very end “I have to go before I cry” & signed off.
I don’t think he has much longer & he knows it. Hopefully there’s a miracle!
But today may well have been his last show.
