After all these years I consider this man an honorary member of my family.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My whole family loves Rush - he’s has been a solid rock for Conservatives for the last couple of decades. I can’t imagine the airwaves without him, but the reality is that time is coming.
Anyway, to carry on his “legacy” of sorts, in the last month, I bought all 5 of his Rush Revere books and my little grand-nieces are getting them for Christmas. They are too young for the books right now; however, their parents made the decision to homeschool them early this year & that decision was independent of & before “the age of COVID”. Knowing that public education is no longer that, but indoctrination, and the history of America’s founding is no longer taught or taught in such a warped way that “we” are the bad guys, I wanted the girls to have the Rush Revere series.
Some of my favorite phone calls in shows past have been when the kids call in to tell Rush hos much they love his books. Hands down, the favorite character is Liberty, the talking horse with a good sense of humor. To remember the calls with the kids giggling about how funny Liberty is still makes me smile years later. My grand-nieces have a real horse - I’m just waiting for the day when my niece calls to tell me they’re in the pasture, trying to get their horse to talk to them.
Anyway, God Bless to Rush - God willing, we’ll hear him again in 2021. If not, as a man of Faith, he’ll soon forever be in the presence of God’s love.
We were in tears too. We love you Rush. God bless you.
Lung cancer is a bad one. Both my parents and a sister died of it. My parents died many years ago, and neither had treatments for it. Both my mother and father died approximately 3 months after being diagnosed.
My sister, the 2nd oldest, had stopped smoking five years prior to being diagnosed in Feb/Mar of 2010. She went through weeks of chemo and radiation treatments. 10 extra radiation treatments to the brain. Suffered radiation pneumonia in the fall of 2010. She felt good enough in Jan. and Feb. of 2011 to have her cataracts taken care of. The day she had the second eye done, she came home, passed out in the bathroom, and smashed her face to shit. Had 6 hours of surgery to repair it all. In May 2011, she was placed in palliative care in the hospital, and underwent more radiation treatments to her brain. On July 1st, she was placed in hospice care. I was with my sister when she passed at 12:30 a.m. on her 69th birthday, Sept. 2, 2011. I firmly believe she waited until she turned 69 to die, because she didn't want to die younger than our mother, who had also passed from lung cancer at the age of 69. My sister lasted far longer than I had thought she would, but her death was inevitable, barring a miracle.
Having watched what she had gone through, I wasn't sure I would ever want to go through any of that myself if I ended up getting cancer. I was the only one in my family that never smoked, and I'm the last one left. My father died at the age of 73 in 1978. My mother in 1990. My only brother died of a massive heart attack at 51. My last sister died from complications after a stroke at 74 in December 2015. I turned 73 this year. Do I feel like I'm living on borrowed time? Oh yeah!!
Rush is always emotional around Christmas. I did not get the feeling that he is "done for" from his comments all day, today.
He had a regular (great) show, and a mix of thankful callers - as usual!
:)
I knew Rush was in a critical condition. I had hoped that a Trump victory would be a good sendoff from this mortal coil. However, the Democrats stole it, a steal without precedent in American history. Barring Trump figuratively pulling a rabbit out of a hat, or a political Hail Mary pass, the Democrats and their media, tech, and Wall Street allies, not to mention a large portion of the GOP, are prepared to snuff out our liberties and way of life.
I was definitely in tears...crying, really.
It was very difficult to listen to him sign off today.
I have been a regular listener of his since 1998.
God bless you, Rush...Merry Christmas...and
Thank you.
I found Rush on my car radio during Desert Storm. I was on my way home from work. After listening to him for a few days, I realized he was saying and thinking the same things I was. He validated my beliefs. I'd never listened to talk radio prior to Rush.
I was driving down the highway with tears running down my face...after listening to him for 30 years I cannot imagine no longer hearing his voice. Prayers for Rush and his family.
and he's wrong....
he's done tremendous good...
for many yrs we couldn't express how we felt about a lot of what leftist were up to, but we knew it was wrong...
Rush put into words what we all felt....
thankyou Rush...
SURVIVE!
In that scenario Mike Pence becomes President though. Unless they impeach Pence too.
I hope Rush is here long enough to see Trump’s second inauguration in January.
As bad as 2020 has been on all of us, Rush’s year was worse by many magnitudes. His body has been through hell, but his heart and mind are as excellent as ever.
Thank you Rush. Damned good show today. And I’m looking forward to being on the receiving end of the golden EIB microphone throughout 2021.
A caller into Hannity (guest host) had this to say ..if you listen to his call Debby downer used a lot of his message. She was either affected by it or is copying it.

My youngest son was diagnosed with cancerous polyps in early 2019. They operated in April, and he went through 6 months of chemo treatments. So far, so good. He was 49 when he was diagnosed. The gastroenterologist told him he wished he had come to see him ten years earlier, but then he also said, my son would have only been 39 at the time, and they don’t screen people for colon cancer that young unless there is a history of it in the family. My Dad had polyps. They were removed twice, but none were cancerous. Of course he died years later of lung cancer.
I’m still crying........I mean all his end of the year shows with Silent Night playing in the background is enough to make one cry but we knew we would see him in January and that kept us going. We may yet see him back in January but for how long? That tears my heart up......pray for total healing, pray for victory for President Trump and pray for our country........Merry Christmas everybody
I was in tears also...
I was told before a hernia operation that the ipom (it’s like a net) had a 4% chance of coming loose and I would need another operation.
It came loose and when I was sitting with the Head Doctor of the hospital she was kind of angry about it (towards the doctors) and said she did not know why it came loose so I told her it came loose during sex.
The conversation then moved forward.
“I hope he hangs on to see Trump prevail”.
Dittos!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
Do you guys remember when Rush talked about women “pharding” in the car and some callers got irate? Good memories for sure! I am comforted knowing Rush knows Jesus Christ!
