Serious question - how does blockchain technology do anything about false identification? It seems to me it would protect against completely fabricated or duplicated ballots, but nothing against ballots with a fake registration or multiple registrations in different precincts.

With blockchain there has to a point of “truth. That means when you register to vote they do the verification. At that point it is all tied to a blockchain (there is no single blockchain out there—you can build a bunch of them.).

Then you scan a WR code assigned to you and it is accessible to anyone with access to the blockchain.

Not really sure how this would be different than a simple database. And it would be susceptible to being hacked.

And again, you are not going to get my Auntie Betty (94) to do any of this.
