“Well, to be fair, the money was given to him.
Uncle “somebody” handed it to him by mistake.”
Uncle Billy! :)
Merry Christmas.
MOVIES. Not shows. I do not include kids short shows as “movies”. Hard to include TV movies also but I guess I will.
First, movies actually about Christmas themes for the whole thing.
MIRACLE ON 34th STREET (1947...THIS is Santa Claus)
BISHOP’S WIFE (still not recognized as a Christmas movie...but it’s completely about that and terrific)
Christmas Carol (1984 TV...George C. Scott is the best, period)
Christmas Story
Elf
Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
Movies that contain Christmas but aren’t really all about it even 50%.
It’s a Wonderful Life (yeah, yeah....no one knew about it until late 80s after my mom showed it to us and then my teacher played it for the savings & loan stuff....then suddenly it’s the greatest Christmas show ever, which is nonsense BTW). It is NOT a Xmas movie, only a snippet! Mostly a biography!
MEET ME IN SAINT LOUIS!!!!!! (Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is from this)
IN THE GOOD OLD SUMMERTIME (poorly named cover of Shop Around the Corner, which mostly takes place in winter And ends at Christmas Day. Judy’s Xmas song this time stinks, though)
By father Light of the Silvery Moon
Not sure how many can be listed under this category!
