Costumes,as such,mean little to me.The overall quality of the production is what counts.Downton Abbey was absolutely outstanding...but not quite as good as Upstairs/Downstairs.Of course the Brits have the theater in their blood so outstanding productions shouldn't come as a surprise.

Now that winter's here I'll be binge-watching both of them.

Have you seen Upstairs Downstairs 2010 version? It’s a continuation of the original starting 6 years after the original ended. They brought Jean Marsh back in her original role.
