I think there was a 95% reduction in SYMPTOMATIC COVID compared to Placebo. They didn’t test for ASYMPTOMATIC (I.e., trial participants who got the virus but had NO SYMPTOMS) case reduction.
They didnâÂÂt test for mild symptoms or asymptomatic cases. They only tested if the symptoms were severe. Reduction in severe cases was 95%. Reduction in mild cases, which they call âÂÂsuspected CovidâÂÂ, looks to be about 2%. ThatâÂÂs assuming all the suspected cases actually had it. Again they never tested those cases. And, as you stated, we have no idea about asymptomatic because they werenâÂÂt tested either.
